I picked up my second job today! So i am now a full-time working mommy. I actually get to work with a few of Greg's long time friends. So Im pretty excited about getting to meet them. Afterall, i have heard a bazillion street racing stories about them. Greg is really excited, even though he has to pick up some responsibilities, like picking Benjamin up from daycare and cooking dinner every night. But i have already promised to fix dinner when i can, and especially on the weekends! I hope BMan likes noodles, because i think that's all Greg will be able to cook for a while, since i do 99% of the cooking now, except when we grill. I have asked Greg if he needs me to show him out to make grilled cheese sammiches, but he swears he can handle it. I love that man. Always pushing me to be better, and do better, just like i do to him!
My boss seemed pretty impressed this morning with my settlement proposal skills. There i was thinking that i was being a heartless bitch and that she would back me off a little, but the only thing i got corrected on was the layout of the settlement and a few grammar whoopsies. But hey, at least i hit spell check and didn't misspell a pleading filed with the court. ALTERNITIVE... BAHAHAHAHA!
Benjamin will be 2 years old on Monday! I have no idea where the hell all the time has gone. He's growing up to be such a wonderful little guy. We went and got his hair cut yesterday at Cartoon Cuts, he sat in the chair and didnt fight or fuss at all! He insists on saying hi and bye to absolutely everyone. As well as giving total strangers high fives randomly, where ever we are. He's grown so much this last year too. He's in 4T clothes and Size 9 Toddler Boys Shoes... I dont know where he gets it? He's finally starting to talk. His favorite words are Ball and Dadda, but he does say Mama. <--- that warms my heart and makes me smile every time i hear it! You'll read more about him and his 2's on Monday!
My heart broke Monday morning, when Benjamin got all excited about seeing the older kids walk to the bus stop. It dawned on me that i had yet to realize that he will never get to be excited about walking Parker to the bus stop for his first day of Kindergarten. Hell, Benjamin will never get to put any of his older siblings on the bus. I cry alot on my way to work now, and as long as I'm not running late on my way home, i dont see the parents waiting for buses.
I am ready to start car shopping in the next few weeks. I am ready for my MINIVAN! Or another Fox Body... I am having one hell of a time deciding between the two. I may just have to settle for BOTH! But a minivan will cart all 6 of us around. So my indecisiveness will have to hold out on me a little longer!
Tonight, I have decided to finally sit down and watch The Help. I've waited foooorrrrrrreeeeeevvvvveeeeerrrrr for it to be on a movie channel.
